Biography
I was born of a grandfather and father both architects and painters. From my childhood I was immersed in this creative world. This has naturally awakened in me a passion for noble materials such as wood and paint in all its forms.
In 1990, I joined the Jousseaume workshop in La Rochelle for the study of acrylic and a research on light.
In 1994, I joined the studio of the painter Rochelais Jean-Louis Chollet to further improve my technique of oil.
Since 1996, the results and prices obtained in my different exhibitions convinced me to pursue a career as a painter.
Currently I work acrylic on raw wood planks mounted canvas frame. The work of Corinne Pleindoux is inspired by his daily life and his environment. A few snapshots, moments of mostly female life. Would it be self-portraits? In any case, acrylic and raw wood planks reveal these funny good women with a lot of strength and freshness.
