Biography
Mirogi has always loved the plastic arts since its earliest childhood. A thwarted vocation on the fine arts, at the time described as a risky choice to be risky by her family, and therefore studies in medicine and then physio where she graduated, but her hobbies are always devoted to her passion, the Art in all its forms.
MIROGI creates its own physiotherapist’s office on the Varenne, suspends its artistic tastes
to develop the same cabinet until the day in 2000, a patient who was doing sculpture in a Parisian workshop would like to take advantage of her knowledge of anatomy.
This was the trigger, MIROGI immediately decided to join a group of students in sculpture at Annick Aublet, a Parisian sculptor. Two years were devoted to the work of the earth and the observation of living models. It was a revelation.
From a block of earth to arrive at an object finalized in three dimensions, object that has a soul and that emits emotion!
Since that day, MIROGI has never stopped carving in the studio from live models but without master or teacher to not be influenced.
MIROGI did not look for a style, it’s the style that found it. One day, after the work of the earth, MIROGI decides to make his first bronze. At first, and as oftentimes, it is the friends who ask for pieces and that’s how public knowledge of MROGI’s work begins. The Médicis square in Saint-Maur, the opening to the public during artists’ days, the art library, exhibitions in the Val de Marne and in Paris, for example during the Grand Marché of Contemporary Art in Paris Bastille under the marquee and this for the 4th year.
