The apple, symbol of the Earth, of life itself, the emotion of knowledge and sensuality, the pome of Ishtar, fruit of the Hesperides and Avalon, has expressed, inspiration and ideas since the dawn of time. A reward to the beautiful and heroic, an insignia of authority and a source of magic, a myriad of cultures associated these attributes with the apple and as such the fruit has adorned human art through the ages.
